Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2026 Schedule, Squad & Live Streaming Info

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka live action begins on 9 October 2026 with the first of three T20Is at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, before the tour wraps up with two Test matches, finishing on 21 November 2026. Pakistan have handed the T20I captaincy to Sahibzada Farhan, while Kusal Mendis will lead Sri Lanka’s 15-member T20I squad.

The tour window also includes an ODI tri-nation series with England and a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad, making this one of Pakistan’s busiest stretches of the 2026 home season.

The biggest off-field talking point remains security. After a suicide bomb blast in Islamabad on 30 September 2026 killed 12 people, eight Sri Lankan players initially wanted to return home. However, following strong assurances from the PCB and direct intervention from Pakistan’s army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, the tour will go ahead as planned.

The Pakistan government has deployed army and paramilitary forces to protect both teams, and it has shifted all white-ball matches to Rawalpindi. For cricket lovers, the message is simple: the PAK vs SL 2026 series is on, and here’s everything you need to know.
